Nothing matters more than comfortable boots, and, let’s be honest, buying footwear mail order must surely be a bad idea !
To give good advice, our boot-fitters need to see your feet and you should come prepared to spend time. When was the last time you had your feet measured? When you were a child?
It’s important you arrive with an open mind, that you trust the integrity of our boot-fitters and that you are prepared to discard the advice of your friends or that magazine test review, because it’s more than likely that your feet will be different from those owned by the writer !
When you bought your last pair of boots , were you simply ‘sold’ them or did someone actually fit them? Think about it. It may well be the latter and if you’ve been satisfied with them, that’s great, but there are very few shops in the UK that have staff who are capable of assessing your needs, selecting that perfect pair and then are confident enough to guarantee the work they have done.
In order to stand by a guarantee like this it’s important that there are enough models at the boot-fitters disposal – currently we stock 40 Men’s, 31 Ladies, and 7 Children’s – that what we need to maintain the reputation of the George Fisher Boot-room.
